MOTIVATIONAL: Running on Empty? Here's How to Refuel Your Faith!

Hey Reader
Happy Monday!
Have you ever felt like you’re running on empty—spiritually, emotionally, or even physically? Life has a way of pulling us in so many directions that we forget to refill our own cup. I remember watching a video from Bill Devall talking about how his therapist had to remind him that the scripture, Psalm 23:5... “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” says nothing about tilting your cup:
People are supposed to receive from your overflow, not the tilt of your cup. You can’t pour from an empty vessel, and God never intended for you to run on fumes. But the good news? God never runs out of strength, and He is ready to pour into you.
Scripture of the Week:
“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” – Psalm 23:5
God wants to fill you to overflowing, not just enough to get by. When you rest in Him, He renews your strength so you can pour into others from abundance, not exhaustion.
Journal Prompt:
Where in your life have you been giving from a place of emptiness? Write a prayer asking God to refill you so that you can serve from a place of overflow, not depletion.
You don’t have to keep pushing through on your own. Pause, pray, and allow God to restore your soul—because you were made to run over, not run out.
